The AT32F435RGT7 is Artery Technology's high-performance Cortex-M4 MCU operating at up to 288MHz — 71% faster than the STM32F405's 168MHz. It is pin-compatible with the STM32F405RGT6 in the LQFP-64 package, making it a drop-in hardware replacement for existing STM32F4-based flight controller PCBs.

Betaflight has added AT32F4 target support, enabling full firmware compatibility for Betaflight flight controllers. The 384KB SRAM (vs 192KB on STM32F405) allows more complex filter configurations and blackbox buffering without memory constraints.

Cost-typically 20-35% lower than equivalent STM32 parts, the AT32F435 is increasingly popular with Chinese flight controller manufacturers (Speedybee, HGLRC, Matek) as an alternative to the STM32F405 in 2023-2024 designs.
