The STM32H750VBT6 is the cost-optimized member of STMicroelectronics' STM32H7 family, offering the same blazing 480 MHz Cortex-M7 performance as the STM32H743 but with only 32KB internal flash. It is designed to boot from external memory via QSPI NOR Flash (e.g., W25Q128JV), FMC, or SD card, making it an ideal choice for projects where external storage holds the firmware.

In the drone ecosystem, the STM32H750VBT6 is widely adopted in open-source flight controller designs — notably Betaflight H7 targets and the SpeedyBee F7 series. The reduced internal flash forces a clean firmware architecture where the bootloader resides in internal flash and the main firmware is on a fast QSPI NOR Flash chip.

Key advantages include: 1MB unified SRAM for large filter buffers, dual CAN-FD for advanced drone bus protocols, and 22 hardware timers for precise motor/ESC PWM generation at up to 32kHz.
